i|| Chruch- Thus, my opionion.

Oh, the things that can make me sick to my stomach.Like political ChurchOr Church marketing.It's safe to say that my wonderful church family is going through some tough times. As would any family. However, usually in an intimate relational situation, we should strive to seek answers that would be catalyst for solutions.However, I find leaders worried about the meeting that last too long?I would like things to be solved in the most appropriate action.I mean, really act like Jesus.What would the man do if He was here?Actually be, Christian?Actually be, In Christ?Stop following a rule book of laws and start to into the relationship without flaws.God & Patron.Father & Child.I find myself disgusted with traditions as well. Is that bad?Well, let me explain. I like traditions as long as they are executed as traditions and not as commandments.If they are willing to have exceptions. Traditions are only habits with meaning.I traditionally go to Taco Bell in Russellville and get the Dan Special.It has meaning. It has my name. It's my personal tradition.But, I'm not opposed to the idea of getting a freaking quesadilla. I understand quesadillas are different. I understand that the cost is different. It's all good. People that uphold the traditions as commandments are the people that I like to callPharisee.It's wrong. It's wrong all day long. As a religion we contradict ourselves so bad in this aspect. Think about it. You go to a church that is so prideful of their traditions doctrines and decrees. BUT, Get this!You learn about the man who brought more change to this world than any man in the history of the world ever. Ever.Or Ever will. Jesus biggest oppressors was, the Pharisees whom wanted to keep their laws, their commandments, their traditions. What if there was a church that recognized that change had to come and it would be appropriate change to better execute Jesus love. As a church we have to work together. Not always have to agree, and that's ok. But, I might not agree to something and would still breech my personal contract for the greater good. Sometimes I feel like people have personal contracts with themselves. Issues about the Bible. Close minded arguments. Arrogant views. I mean, if they really had it all right, you think more people would like the Pharisees.Some people read the Bible as if it was all wrote literally (and in verses lol). Legalistically discerning what's the good and the bad. The right and the wrong. The "Christian" stuff and the "stuff that don't matter"For example, some people that read the bible legalistically don't have room for exceptions, like Jesus saving the man on the cross. "You mean to tell me that man went to heaven without being BAPTIZED?!?!?"Well, that's what Jesus did.Not me, not you.Jesus saved him, not the text.I call that the God in a box complex.You know what happens when people don't understand God.You get people that maliciously picketing abortion clinics.Pompous alpha males threading death upon another male because of a lifestyle. (really happened the other night at steak n skate)Yet, these people say it all under the authority given to them by God, yet the only authority God give them is to die to themselves. I explicitly remember "Cause you know God don't like Gays."I was utterly shocked and horrified. I wish I would have replied back with "God loves gays, along side of the judgmental people who persecute them."It really does not matter what sin it is. Or what quarrel you have. But, if you have a quarrel and you don't agree with it; don't arrogantly claim Gods opinion when you've never met him. I'm sorry. I stared out with things I didn't like and just kind of turned into a opinionated rant and criticism. I pray I'll only be critical of what Christ made critical.
